Skipper, Malcolm Goodchild, rustles up a snack in the galley of Little Blue

Loch Fyne Dive Charters is fully insured for all risks associated with carrying groups of divers and also persons engaged in educational and pleasure trips aboard the MV Little Blue.

At all times we expect any passenger aboard MV Little Blue to respect the Boat Skipper's judgement in safety matters and also those relating to local weather and sea conditions. In this respect it may be necessary at times to terminate a dive trip or other cruise earlier than anticipated but this will be done purely in the safety interest of the parties carried.

We will undertake to carry only fully qualified scuba divers and may request documentary evidence that such qualifications are held. Divers may also be requested to complete a 'Diver Release Form' to indemnify Loch Fyne Dive Charters with the following or similar wording;

"I, (divers name inserted) hereby certify that I am a fully certified scuba diver having gained my qualification from (name of diving school), which is graded (appropriate wording to be inserted). I confirm that i am fully aware of the dangers and risks involved in participation in scuba diving such as (but not limited to) decompression sickness, air embolism and nitrogen narcosis.

I hereby further waive and relinquish all and any of my rights or causes of action against the operator arising for loss or injury of any kind except where death or injury is caused by the negligence of the operator whether such rights or causes of action arise as a result of or caused by or are directly or indirectly or incidental to my participation in the excursion or are caused by, or in any way connected with the use or misuse of any equipment or vessel of the operator whether used by me or the operator and whether or not owned by the operator save where death or injury is caused by the negligence of the operator.

I hereby further agree that in the event of any claim in respect of the above causes of action being made, instituted or prosecuted against the operator in my name (save for proceedings for death or injury caused by the negligence of the operator) that I will fully and effectually indemnify the operator from all or any such claims."
